Madison Lakes Dental is a relationship-based family dental care practice that focuses on the needs of the individual patient. The clinic (formerly known as Odana Hills Dental) is located in the heart of Madison, Wisconsin, on Medical Circle on the west side of town.
James Hill, DDS, and his dedicated team of dental professionals provide comprehensive dental care to get to the root of a patient’s condition. The focus of each patient treatment plan is not merely to treat the tooth, but to treat the underlying disease and prevent dental issues from coming back in the future.
In addition to routine preventive dental care, including exams and cleanings, patients can undergo a host of treatments for minor to complex situations. Madison Lakes Dental provides laser periodontal surgery, implant placement and restoration, cosmetic dentistry (such as veneers), and more. The team also helps diagnose and treat temporomandibular joint disorder (TMJ or TMD), myofascial pain, and sleep apnea, among other chronic conditions.
New patients and their families are always welcome at Madison Lakes Dental. With flexible scheduling available, patients can conveniently book all appointments online or by phone.

Our Happy Clients
With 20 years of experience as a dental hygienist I feel extremely fortunate to have spent the
majority working in a dental clinic where Dr. Hill was the managing partner and THE
reconstructive dentist. Beyond my education, training, and collaboration with Jim he has
allowed me to deliver a level of patient care that you don’t find in the typical practice. His
knowledge, expertise, and communication skills gave me the confidence to refer my friends,
family, and previous patients to him in order to experience dentistry from a total health
perspective. I loved the fact that Dr. Hill was one of the first dentists in WI to acquire the
Periolase laser for the treatment of advanced periodontal disease as this allowed me to help
more people save their teeth. I have participated first hand with Jim in changing people’s smiles
and function which I observed dramatically changed their lives. And most importantly; he does
this all within an atmosphere of fun as he truly enjoys his career!
I have been a patient of Jim Hill for almost 20 years. His skills are superb, his professionalism is always evident, and his demeanor is relaxing. But the ral strength of this practice is the team they have assembled. Each team member is warm, responsive to individual needs, and they really listen to the patient. And, as strange as it seems, they not only like Hill, they like each other. Makes for tight teamwork with professional patient coverage (I do not want to embarrass Jim too much, but at one time they called him Dr. Wonderful). Ain’t that a great thing to say about your boss? Jim and the group walked me through a decision I had to make to save a tooth and supported me in my decision when another dentist years ago would have told me to pull the sucker out. He allowed me to be in charge of my own dental care and that is greatly appreciated. Jim and team – thanks for all your support over the years. As long as I got a mouth, I will be back happily.
I was a periodontist for over 23 years and worked with over 400 dentists in and around Dane County. I found that Dr. Jim Hill was the best at understanding the complex treatment plans that we formulated together, as well as executing the treatment, for a desired and predictable outcome. I take great pride when asked who my personal dentist is and I answer Jim Hill.
What a delightful group of personalities through out this dental group. Lots of friendliness, expertise, and professionalism! I always leave feeling well cared for and never feel like I have unanswered questions on procedures or future concerns.
Our Team

Kristy came to us from a diverse background including social work in a nursing home setting dealing with patients and their families walking them through the intricacies of Medicare and Medicaid. She has also spent a great deal of time in the hospitality industry connecting people with vacation opportunities and following up on customer satisfaction. As such she is an ideal person to help patients navigate their insurance both medical and dental as well as explaining treatment plans and financial obligations. She strives for no surprises and complete transparency in patient expectations of treatment planning. As such she is considered our treatment planning coordinator and insurance specialist. She and her 11-year-old son live in Baraboo with their 2 “active” dogs.

Tiffany is one of the friendly faces you will work with at the front desk when you visit or call our office. With over 6 years in the dental field Tiffany’s passion is making patients feel comfortable while in the office. Tiff is a graduate of Bryant and Stratton College with an Associate Degree in Medical Administration. She feels that Dr. Hill’s office is a great fit for her as it has a close knot family feel that she desires. Tiff is a mom to 2 teenagers, a son and daughter and spends a lot of time in the Milwaukee area with family. In her free time she attends as many Milwaukee Brewers baseball games as she can and she cheers on her Dallas Cowboys ( please don’t hold it against her!)

Lois is a 2001 graduate of Maison College Hygiene Program. She continues to further her education with classes on a regular basis to keep up on new dental modalities. She is passionate about helping people optimize their oral health by getting to know them personally and building a long term relationship with them. She lives with her husband and their fur covered kids – a dog and 3 cats and is a proud grandmother to 4 girls. In her spare time she enjoys gardening, canning, reading, fishing, and stained glass work.

I have been practicing dentistry for 25 years. I am originally a native of Lima, Peru.
I earned my dental degree as a DDS from San Martin de Porres University, Lima, Peru. My passion is occlusion, how the upper and lower teeth come together in function.
I am a proud mother of four children. We love to travel and dance together. My husband Jaime and I always look forward to trying new restaurants of different ethnicities as well as movies.
The most satisfying part of my career is being able to comfort and help people. It is the most amazing feeling when you can turn a phobic nervous patient into a great patient or converting a shy person who is self-conscious of their teeth into someone who radiates with their new smile. It feels awesome to give people back their self-esteem – that’s priceless! My philosophy is, to be honest, and upfront, building trust, and put the patient needs and comfort before anything else.
